One man is dead while a Winnipeg woman is in critical condition following a two-vehicle collision on Oct. 1. 

The RCMP says that crash occurred on Highway 7 south of the Provincial Road 229 intersection. 

A 35-year-old Alberta man travelling southbound went over the centre line and hit the vehicle coming northbound driven by a 40-year-old female from Winnipeg. 

The 35-year-old male was pronounced dead on scene and the 40-year-old female was flown to a Winnipeg hospital where she remains in critical condition.

Stonewall / Headingley RCMP, along with an RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
