The RCMP is continuing to investigate the report of a body found near railway tracks in Dominion City.

On December 10 at 9:55 a.m., the Morris RCMP and Emergency Medical Services responded to the incident report.

They found the body of a 30-year-old male from Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The initial investigation indicates the male was struck by a train sometime overnight.

RCMP along with Canadian Pacific Railway, continue to investigate.
