The Winnipeg Jets are one win away from advancing to round two of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Nikolaj Ehlers scored his second goal of the game 9:13 into overtime to lift Winnipeg past Edmonton 5-4 Sunday night at Bell MTS Place.

It was Ehler’s first game back since he suffered an upper body injury on April 24 in a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Mathieu Perreault, Blake Wheeler and Josh Morrissey also scored for the Jets who rallied from a 4-1 third period deficit to force overtime.

Perreault started the Winnipeg comeback with a power play goal at 11:41 of the third. Wheeler fired home a rebound past Edmonton netminder Mike Smith at 14:28 and Morrissey got the equalizer just 16 seconds later.

Leon Draisaitl had a pair of goals for the Oilers. The rest went to Zack Kassian and Jujhar Khaira. Edmonton captain Connor McDavid had three assists.

Jets netminder Connor Hellebuyck made 44 saves in game three including seven in overtime.

Winnipeg leads the best-of-seven North Division semifinal three games to none.

Game four goes Monday at 8:45 p.m., at Bell MTS Place.
