No one was injured following a weekend fire in Sage Creek.

Shortly before 4 a.m. on Sunday, firefighters responded to a single-storey home in the 100 block of Prairie Smoke Drive.

When crews arrived, flames and heavy smoke were pouring from the home.

All occupants were able to evacuate before crews arrived. Paramedics assessed four people, and no transportation to hospital was required.

Crews attacked the fire from outside until it was safe to enter the home. The fire was under control at 5:39 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available, but the home sustained significant fire, smoke and water damage.
