A house fire in the city's North End is keeping the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service busy Wednesday Morning.

The fire broke out at around 2:45 a.m. in a home on Manitoba Avenue.

Crews are using an aerial ladder to apply water to the fire, and due to the cold weather, firefighters are being rotated in and out to protect them.

A few streets in the area were closed as crews battled the fire. They have all since reopened.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
