It was a terrifying evening for residents of Fisher River Cree Nation.
A powerful storm rolled through the area shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday, bringing with it heavy rain, strong winds and baseball-sized hail.
"It sure was scary earlier with the very large hail. It sounded scary when it was hitting the house. I’m glad everyone is ok, except for some vehicles that got damaged," said one resident of Fisher River on Facebook.
The hail caused significant damage to vehicles, breaking windows and leaving large dents on vehicles.
No injuries have been reported.
Large hail, slightly bigger than a golf ball, was also reported in the Selkirk area.

Tornado watches and warnings remained in effect across the province until late Wednesday evening when the system rolled out of the province.
