No one was injured after a garage fire spread to three neighbouring structures.

The blaze broke out just before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Agnes Street.

When crews arrived at the scene, the fire had spread to a two-storey single-family home, a vacant two-storey house on Agnes Street, and a four-storey apartment building on Victor Street.

Heavy smoke and flames were coming from the occupied home on Agnes Street when crews arrived. Firefighters worked to fight the blaze from inside the house but were quickly forced out. By 9:10 p.m., the fire had been completely extinguished.

Everyone in the house on Agnes Street safely self-evacuated before crews arrived. Firefighters searched the other two structures and found no one. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
