Calling all knitters and crocheters! Palliative Manitoba is in need of a helping hand.

The Palliative Manitoba End of Life Companion program is down to its last few handmade lap blankets, something special they hand out to people during home visits.

Palliative Manitoba says these blankets help those in the end stages of life feel warm and remember they're loved.

They are looking for blankets that are approximately 36 by 48 inches. They can be made with any fibre using any stitch as long as they are soft and warm.

Those looking to help can drop off Completed blankets at the Palliative Manitoba office located in Deer Lodge Centre Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m .and 4 p.m.
