A section of Keewatin Street is closed Monday morning as Winnipeg fire crews battle a large blaze.
Keewatin Street is currently closed in both directions between Inkster Boulevard and Church Avenue.
"The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service is fighting a fire in a commercial building at 1030 Keewatin St. Crews are using aerial ladders to apply water to the fire," said the city in a statement on 'X.'
The city says the closure is expected to remain in place throughout the morning rush.
There is no word on injuries at this time.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and find another route.
