Re-released in 2011, 'Stanze' was original recorded in 1992 featuring Cecila Chailly on harp.

Stanze (rooms) is a cycle of 16 pieces for harp comosed in the course of two-three years between 1990 & 1992. Each piece is a musical space separated from the others like the rooms of a house. every room has its own character and its form, like a song, but at the same time it is connected to the structure of the "main building".

Ludovico Einaudi is an Italian pianist and composer. He trained at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan and under composer Luciano Berio in the early 1980s. Einaudi began his career as a classical composer, and soon began incorporating other styles and genres—including pop, rock, world music, and folk music.

Einaudi composed the scores for a number of films and trailers, including The Intouchables, I'm Still Here, Doctor Zhivago (2002 British TV Mini-Series), and Acquario in 1996, for which he won the Grolla d'oro for best soundtrack. He has also released a number of solo albums of piano and orchestra.

Cecilia Chailly is a harpist and composer and well known and appreciated by the Italian public. She is seen as having reinvented the harp and positioning it as a modern, charming and expressive instrument. She has written a successful novel, has a column in Donna Moderna magazine. After an important classical career she began to compose her music, with whom she has performed in major Italian Opera Theaters (including La Scala and the Auditorium of Milan, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, etc.) in the most important festivals and in major television and radio broadcasts.

Raised in a musical family, her father is composer Luciano Chailly and her brother is famed conductor Riccardo Chailly.
