Starting Tuesday, a super site in Garden City will be doing more walk-in vaccinations.
Those who received their first COVID-19 vaccines on or before May 10 can now get their COVID-19 vaccine. Indigenous people and those who have specific health conditions can also book their second dose, as previously announced.
"Manitobans are strongly reminded that only those eligible to book appointments based on the date of their first dose or other provincial criteria should book second-dose appointments at this time," the province says in a statement.
The Leila supersite in Winnipeg is doing more walk-ins for first dose COVID-19 vaccinations this week. Dates and times include:
- Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
- Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
- Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Manitoba is expecting to receive close to two hundred thousand COVID-19 vaccine doses this week, with Moderna taking the lead. The province is set to see 105,000 Moderna doses and 87,750 Pfizer this week. To date, 1,154,390 doses have been delivered and 1,045,956 doses administered.
