Vaccinations

Manitoba's Task Force is moving from a volume-based to accessibility-based approach to delivering vaccines. The number of people accessing COVID-19 vaccines is steadily lowering as most of the province has received their first dose. This includes changes in operating hours.

"This shift will result in changes for staff including an adjustment in hours for some. Staff have been notified and Shared Health is working with them in this transition. There is no reduction in positions," the province says in a statement.

As of Wednesday, 79.1 per cent of all Manitobans have received their first COVDI-19 vaccine, and 67.8 per cent their second dose.

To date, 1,759,911 doses of vaccine have been administered in the province.
