As of Tuesday morning, there are have been more than 70,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Manitoba.

There are 164 new COVID-19 cases in Manitoba, bringing the total number of cases to 70,140.

Out of Tuesday's new cases, 61 people are not vaccinated, 15 people are partially vaccinated, and 88 people are fully vaccinated.

New cases by health region include:

  • 76 in Winnipeg
  • 36 in Southern
  • 28 in Northern
  • 17 in Prairie Mountain
  • 10 in Interlake-Eastern

 

Manitoba's five-day test positivity rate is six per cent.

There are two more deaths, bringing the total number to 1,355.

There are 135 people in the hospital due to COVID-19, with 85 of those people having active cases. Out of the active cases, 54 people are not vaccinated, 27 people are fully vaccinated, and four people are partially vaccinated. 

There are 34 people in intensive care, with 26 of those people having active cases. Out of the active cases, 24 people are not vaccinated, one person is fully vaccinated, and one person is partially vaccinated.
