Many kids throughout southern Manitoba will be at home yet again today as poor driving conditions and extreme cold grips the province.

On Tuesday a large majority of school divisions in southern Manitoba, outside the City of Winnipeg, had closed schools due to the blizzard. Poor winter driving conditions remain in many areas on Wednesday, and wind chill values in many areas are close to -40.

As of 5:30 a.m., several divisions have closed all schools for the day, including Hanover, Red River Valley and Interlake.

Other divisions have cancelled their buses for the day, including Prairie Rose and Southwest Horizon.

You can find the fully updated list as cancellations come in, on the A-Z Electronics Road Reports & Cancellations Page.
