Northern lights illuminate Manitoba sky

Manitobans and Canadians alike were treated to an amazing light show Sunday evening into Monday morning. 

Social media was abuzz as people posted photos of northern lights from all across the province, including Mitchell, Birds Hill, Brandon and Flin Flon.

One poster on Manitoba Aurora Borealis Enthusiasts said it was an exciting night for enthusiasts across the province. Meanwhile, Alvina Stoesz in Altona says it was the first time she has experienced the northern lights.

It was exactly one month ago when the province was treated to a similar show.
