Tomorrow, Thursday, March 4th, at 2:00 at the Rady JCC the Music and Maven ‘N’: Mavens concert and Lecture series, will present the fantastic Band Ego Spank
Ego Spank is comprised of three hugely talented musicians who mix up diverse musical influences to deliver their own complex funk rhythms, strong bass lines and infectious grooves. This trio of Gilles Fournier, bass and vocals, Murray Pulver, guitar and vocals, and Daniel Roy, drums and vocals, are creating Apples to Oranges- Hits from the 60s to the 80s Reimagined for the Music ‘N’ Mavens stage. They take famous hits and make them sound even better than the originals!
This show is sure to be entertaining, with Ego Spank putting some great twists and turns on tunes you might have heard of, and some that might be new to you. Regardless the take on whatever song thy are playing will take on new distinctive light as seen (and played) through the eyes of this amazing Winnipeg Group.
