Update: Highway 75 has reopened after being closed for most of Saturday.

Previously:

A busy highway in southern Manitoba has closed due to poor winter driving conditions.

A significant weather system rolled through the province on Thursday and Friday, bringing with it heavy snowfall and strong winds.

The system has since rolled out of Manitoba, but has left behind some treacherous driving conditions.

As of 4:48 p.m. on Saturday October 28, 2023, the following highway remains closed:

  • Highway 75, from Morris to the US Border, is now closed.
