UPDATE: Power has been restored to all 2700 customers.
Previously:
Thousands of St. Johns and Luxton area residents are without power Thursday morning.
A large outage is affecting well over 2700 customers in the area.
The outage is also impacting traffic in the area, knocking out traffic signals at several busy intersections along Main Street between Mountain Avenue and Rupertsland Avenue.
There is no word from Hydro as to what caused the outage at this time.
Manitoba Hydro expects power to be restored by 12 p.m.
