UPDATE: Power has been restored to all 400 customers in Transcona.

Hundreds of Transcona area residents are waking up in the dark Wednesday morning.
A power outage is affecting over 400 customers in the Transcona area.

The outage is also causing issues in traffic, knocking out lights on Dugald Road from Plesis Road to Archibald Street. Motorists are encouraged to use blank lights as all-way stops.
There is no word from Hydro as to what caused the outage.
Hydro crews are working on fixing the problem.
