Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has a busy Friday ahead of him in Winnipeg.

Later this morning, the Prime Minister, alongside Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson, will meet with parents to discuss the importance of affordable, high-quality child care.

Following that event, Trudeau is scheduled to visit health-care workers at one of Winnipeg's hospitals.

Earlier this week, Trudeau was in British Columbia, where he signed a 27-billion-dollar health-care deal with the province on the heels of last week's 6.7-billion-dollar deal reached with Manitoba.

Trudeau arrived in Winnipeg Thursday evening to attend a Liberal fundraiser at the Fort Garry Hotel.
