For all cellular users on multiple cell networks, the only calls out that can be made are for emergencies across Canada.

The issue seems to span across a few Canadian provinces as customers start the day. The issue started in the middle of the night.

There were 1,000 reports of no service or internet for Rogers customers by 5:00 a.m. As of 9:18 a.m. Down Detector is reporting that the issue is broader. It includes Rogers, Fido, Bell, Telus, Virgin, Koodo, and BellMTS. Many companies are also experiencing internet issues.

According to a website, it says that 'Rogers is having issues since 02:20 AM EST.'

Early Friday morning people took to Twitter to also announce that they were unable to pay their bills or access their finances with financial institutions such as Toronto Dominion (TD), Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), and Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) with many more affected as well.

There is also no comment from these companies as to what is happening as of 9:00 a.m.
