Let host Michael Wolch take you on a wonderful journey Saturday afternoon on The Wide World of Classical Music. 

 Beginning with music from concerts happening in the U.S this weekend in St Louis, L.A., and Chicago, and celebrating the birthdays of Telemann, Johann Strauss Sr, there is always an eclectic and exciting mix of music to keep you company on a Saturday afternoon.

There will be 1 hour dedicated to Spring, an hour of romantic concertos and a Crossover hour featuring the music of Kurt Weill, Quincy Jones and the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet among others.

AND, we are pleased to announce a feature interview with the exhilirating, rousing, virtuoso Canadian pianist Alain Lefevre. He has a brand new CD out, called Rive Gauche, of his own compositions and it is our feature album of the day. Watch the promo video for Rive Gauche below:
