We will dig into a wealth of new releases; check out concerts around the world; read you a story and more!

This is the time of year when the record companies start to release some of their bigggest albums of the year. It's like Christmas every day here at the station, when packages arrive with my name on them. There have been so many great new recordings, that I will have to spread them out to 2 hours of music. Lang Lang, Benjamin Grosvenor, Alain Lefevre and many more will be featured.

In the past I have played you several stories by Kim Maerkl: Mozart's Magical Night; Stradivari's Gift; Amati's Dream; The Snake Charmer and others. Her newest CD is entitled The Cellist Of Venice, which transports us to Italy in the year 1725, and tells the story of a Venetian family who loves the music of Bach. Cellist Daniel Muller-Schott and Narrator Thomas Hampson are the lead roles in this captivating tale.

I love to travel, in fact, I value travel as much as I do formal education! Sorry to all the teachers and professors out there, and not to discourage everyone to attend school, University etc... (I have 3 degrees myself), but there is something about a journey that enlightens the mind, expands our comfort zone and teaches how to live and navigate in this sometimes challenging world. So, I have an hour of journey lined up for you also.

A few hints of what is in store:
