The last Saturday of April already!

What happened to April? Blink your eyes and it's May. Have you ever thought about ways to slow down time? If only there was a way to slow down vacations, weekends, moments shared with loved ones and a delicious meal. The preparation of the meal takes care and time, and the meal seems to pass by so quickly. Some suggest mindfulness, meditation, and savouring each second as ways of slowing time down, but if I had a magic wand wouldn't that be easier? I know, there are no shortcuts.

That being said, I do have an hour of magical music to savour. So, if you close your eyes and meditate to this music, maybe time will cooperate.

Pujol: Suite Magica

Composers are also inspired by art, so we will explore a few pieces by Mussorgsky, Wagner, Respighi and more:

here is the Spring Movement from Respighi's 3 Botticelli Pictures:

Other hours will feature symphonies, great concertos, the Romantic era and Band Music:

Hope you can join me Saturday from noon-6:00pm on The Wide World of Classical Music.

All the best,

Michael.
