Andrea is a finalist in the WMC McLellan Compeition, and she sang for us live in the studio, accompanied by pianist Lisa Rumpel.

Hailed for her "sweet sincerity" and "clear voice soaring to stratospheric heights" (Opera Canada), soprano Andrea Lett is quickly making a name for herself in the opera world. Noted for her warm, versatile tone, Lett has been featured across the Canada with companies such as Saskatoon Opera, Manitoba Underground Opera, and The Winnipeg Gilbert and Sullivan Society, the Ottawa Sacred Music Society, and Opera Nuova.

Lett recently finished her first year as an Apprentice Singer with Santa Fe Opera, covering the role of Adele, and later covered the role of Ah Sing in San Francisco Opera’s World Premier of Girls of the Golden West by John Adams. Other roles include Queen of the night (Die Zauberflöte), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Monica (The Medium), and Frasquita (Carmen).

Miss Lett is was the recipient of the First Prize Scholarship awarded by the Women’s Musical Club of Winnipeg, and was a finalist in the Canadian Opera Company’s Center Stage Gala.
