A new play opened in Winnipeg this week ----'Such Creatures' by Judith Thompson staring Doreen Brownstone & Gislina Patterson.

Such Creatures opened Thursday night in the Colin Jackson Theatre at PTE to a sold out show and standing ovation. The play features Winnipeg stage legend Doreen Brownstown and up and coming stage actor Gislina Patterson. Directed by Patterson's father, Arne MacPherson, Such Creatures is a story about love, hate, strength and hope as the audience follows two women on separate journeys---each coming face to face with monsters. One is going back to Aucshwitz, the other waits in a park for the fight of her life.

Classic 107's Claudia Garcia de la Huerta got a sneak preview and had the opportunity to talk with director Arne MacPherson. Take a listen!

Such Creatures is on until Sunday afternoon January 5th (2:00 PM matinese show. Otherwise, nightly at 8:00 PM). Tickets are $15 at the door or by emailing suchcreaturesis@gmail.com
