That's right - this month we have "winners" - plural! A pair of cats beat out the competition!

 Meet our winners:

Ellie and Nora!

Nominated by Kelly, the pair of adorable cats have a mother/daughter-type relationship. Ellie, the older of the two, has been caring and cuddling Nora since she was adopted.

The pair will receive a lovingly prepared gift basket from Global Pet Foods St. Vital, featuring all sorts of toys, treats and other prizes.

Your dog or cat could be like Ellie and Nora - enjoying the prestige and prizes that come with being the Global Pet Foods Classic Pet of the Month!

Why not nominate them for the March edition of the contest?

The other fantastic February contestants:

Leroy Brown

"Every morning Leroy goes to the end of our driveway on our rural property and waits for the Winnipeg Free press Delivery truck. The delivery driver waits for him to come to the door and he gives him the paper, where as he brings it back to the house. Now this entails getting 2 treats. One from the driver and one from us for being a 'good boy'"

Astra

"This gal is cute as can be not just because of her wonderful face, but because she doesn’t act like a regular dog!

She sits on the front porch with her bum on the step and feet below; just like we do! She talks, she’s super smart and she’s our neighbourhood mascot....everyone knows her! She says hello to the neighbours as they arrive home, and barks at those she doesn’t yet know to protect her peeps.

Lastly she’s a kisser! And has pretty good breath still lol! Aka Lady Licks-a-Lot ❤️ Best.Dog.Ever."

Saha

"So cute she is my baby. She is a part of the family."

Bowie

"Bowie is a Basset Hound. Bassets are happy, affectionate and disobedient (according to experts). She definitely is."

Honey Crisp

"Honey Crisp should be pet of the month because of her dedication to her track training. She runs on her wheel for hours every night trying to beat her personal best time and distance. Her determination is unmatched. Honey Crisp’s dream is to race against Usain Bolt in the Olympics, with our support I believe she stands a chance."

Oliver

"He was abandoned in an apartment. Someone just moved away and left him behind. Couldn't bare to leave him there to die. So I took him home and 2 years later he is healthy happy and enjoying life. Love that little guy!"
