Join host Roxane Gagne for The Listening Party this Saturday 10:00pm for the complete album Oscar Peterson: Reunion Blues

Legendary Canadian pianist Oscar Peterson is reunited with vibe master Milt Jackson for a fun, swingin', and often overlooked recording. Along with his bass partner of so many years, Ray Brown and drummer Louis Hayes, this quartet covers standards such as Someday My Prince Will Come and When I Fall in Love, and even treads into a cool version of the Rolling Stones' "I Can't Get No Satisfaction."

While this album get overshadowed by his most famous recordings like Night Train, Canadiana Suite and all the Songbook recordings, it is still a great listen from beginning to end, with a fine balance of ballads and swingers. Milt Jackson's blues style  is the perfect compliment to the grace and speed of Oscar Peterson, and Brown & Hayes are more than a supporting cast.

Sit back and enjoy The Listening Party, every Saturday 10:00pm with host Roxane Gagne.
