Did you watch the Grammy Awards Sunday  night? Broadcast from the Los Angeles’ Staples Center, nice to see so many Canadian artists represented and so many women! Unfortunately, classical and jazz, as per usual, were relegated to off air. Not to worry though, we've got you covered!

This year six Canadian artists and groups were nominated over the 10 classical music categories, but it was Brandon native James Ehnes who took home an award in the Best Classical Instrumental Solo category for the Kernis: Violin Concerto. The album’s namesake composition also won for Best  Classical Composition, making it a double win for Ehnes.
