Jaimi Deleau was scouted at the incredible age of 9. She's been dancing since she was four years old. Today she is the only Winnipeg native in the company having just officially joined this past year. A graduate of the RWB's Professional Division, Jaimi will be Claudia's guest Saturday morning where the two will talk about Jaimi's journey and what it's like making her professional debut in a show as powerful as Going Home Star.

"It has been surreal and a dream come true to be a part of the Company. I never thought it was an option for me, but taking that first audition put me on the path to achieve my dream of being a ballet dancer,” says Deleau.

This year's International Audition Tour kicks-off in Winnipeg with auditions being held on Thursday, October 9 at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet (380 Graham Avenue). The Winnipeg date is the first of fifteen dates across Canada and one date in the US (Minneapolis, January 2015). Every student with a dream to dance or teach professionally is encouraged to attend.

RWB School graduates have been invited to join the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company and are sought out by top tier performing arts organizations. Alumni have had outstanding careers with world renowned companies – from Broadway to Cirque du Soleil to La La La Human Steps to New York City Ballet to Stuttgart Ballet.
