After a hiatus approaching two years, Virtuosi Concerts returns to the Winnipeg live music scene with plenty of outstanding performers in a brand new to Virtuosi venue: St. Andrew’s United Church in River Heights.

“This church is a beautiful, big space,” explains Virtuosi Interim Artistic Director Madeline Hildebrand. “It just has a fantastic acoustic… and a gem of a big piano.”

The season begins on Sunday, November 21 when Cameron Crozman (cello) and Philip Chiu (piano) perform a program titled “Tapeo” which draws on selections from their disc of the same name.

“They are youthful, energetic, fun performers and people,” explains Hildebrand. “I’m really excited that our subscribers and supporters will get to see that in live, real-life happenings!”

The sole concert in 2021, the rest of the season features acclaimed Canadian performers, some of whom return to Winnipeg whereas others make their city debut!
