The City of Winnipeg's unofficial gathering spot of Portage and Main is filled with fans in blue and gold Sunday evening.

The Blue Bombers squeaked out a nail biter on Sunday evening, spoiling the party for the host Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The Bombers used overtime in a come from behind 33-25 win that had fans on the edge of their seats.

Within minutes of the victory, the first fans showed up at Portage and Main.

The Winnipeg Police Service has shut down Main Street as well as Portage Avenue in all directions in the area.

After a 29-year Grey Cup drought that was finally ended in 2019, Bombers fans now enjoying cheering for what could be a dynasty team.

Fans are already making plans for another championship, chanting "We want three" at the celebration. 

They're also singing the praises of head coach Mike O'Shea.
