You'll be hearing a new voice on Classic 107 between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Station music programmer Chris Wolf is your new mid day companion with Intermezzo.

You may know Chris from Sunday afternoons on Symphonic Sunday and Accross My Desk. But now, Classic 107's music programmer will be taking you through the mid day Monday to Friday on Intermezzo.

Roxane Gagné has hosted 'The Way Up' in this time slot since Classic 107 launched last December but family and professional commitments have made it too difficult for her to continue with the Classical music show. She will, however, continue to host the weekend jazz show, Le Baiser Salé.

Eric Friesen is Classic 107's Program Director. He says he was saddened to see Roxane go but understands.

"Roxane did a fantastic job in this time slot. This was not an easy decision for her, but this is also a great opportunity to expand Chris Wolf's role in the station while continuing to bring listeners the best in classical music programming."

For Chris Wolf, hosting Intermezzo gives him an oportunity to connect more with the Classic 107 audience.

"It's easy to get caught up in the programming aspect of my job. There are a lot of hours to program and more than 400 years of music to play with. By getting to come into people's cars, their livingrooms or keeping them company on their commutes--whatever the case may be---I get a diferent perspective and I also get to really enjoy the music."

Join Chris on Intermezzo every Mon-Fri 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Classic 107 (107.1 FM) or stream the station live HERE
