We talk to one of the Bonhams appraisers in town this weekend for the WAG Fundraiser

Attention all collectors! This weekend the Winnipeg Art Gallery plays host to one of the world’s oldest and largest auctioneers of fine art and antiques – Bonhams. For two days – Saturday and Sunday (Nov 15 & 16) the public is invited to bring in jewellery, paintings, prints, sculptures and more. For $20 dollars you will receive a place in line to get your item looked at from a certified Bonhams appraiser. There is a limit of 4 items per person – each item will cost $20. And the best part of all Funds raised will support the growth and preservation of the WAG’s permanent Gallery. The only things NOT eligible for appraisal are coins, bank notes, stamps, toys, musical instruments or military items.

Perry Tung is one of the appraisers you'll see from Bonhams. Classic 107's Claudia Garcia de la Huerta caught up with the Canadian Art specialist at the WAG on Friday.
