In case you run out of Easter treats, need flowers for that beautiful Easter centrepiece or you're just looking for things to do!

STORES

All major malls will be on altered schedules over the weekend.

CF Polo Park, St. Vital Centre, Kildonan Place and the Outlet Collection will all be closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday. They will be open regular hours on Monday.

Most grocery stores will also be closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

All banks will be closed Good Friday but most seem to be open Monday.

 

ATTRACTIONS

A lot of things to do and see over the weekend  around the city. Most public attractions will be open, including the Children's Museum, Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the Manitoba Museum. (CMHR & Manitoba Museum will be closed on Monday though) 

Assiniboine Zoo will be open. So is the Assiniboine park Conservatory. Monday will be the last day of operations for the horticultural facility, which jas been slated for demolition.

 

CITY SERVICES & FACILITIES

3-1-1 services will continue to run 24 hours. Residential garbage collection schedules will NOT change.

City of Winnipeg libraries will be closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Many will also be closed Easter Monday.

Most city pools are closed Good Friday and Easter Monday with regular programming Saturday and Sunday. The new spring schedule begins Sunday.

Leisure centres will be closed Good Friday and Monday. Regular programming Saturday and Sunday.

Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule Good Friday, but it'll be the regular schedule on Monday.

The Brady Road Landfill  and recycling programs will operate a normal schedule, however, 4R Winnipeg Depots will be closed Friday and Monday.

 

GOVERNMENT OFFICES

All city, provincial, and federal offices are closed Good Friday and Easter Monday.
