Vocalist Mira Black went back to school, with a dedicated focus on jazz theory and performance. Over six months, Mira  learned from the best of the best, including jazz vocal lessons from Anna-Lisa Kirby at the University of Manitoba and classical vocal study from Dianne Berger at the Manitoba Conservatory of Art & Music. She also studied jazz theory with Will Bonness, jazz composition with Quincy Davis and jazz history with Steve Kirby. The end result was a brand new repertoire of compositions that she debuted at her Nu Sounds series performance.
