The Winnipeg Police Service is encouraging Winnipeggers looking to report a non-emergency Friday morning to do it online or in person.

The non-emergency line is currently experiencing technical issues, and they are unsure when the issue will be resolved.

Winnipeg residents looking to report a non-emergency can visit the Winnipeg Police Service online reporting website or visit the Winnipeg Police headquarters in person at 245 Smith Street.

If you have an emergency, the Winnipeg Police Service says to call 911.

The Non-Emergency line (204)986-6222 is still experiencing technical issues. Our online reporting https://t.co/ybNF1aygpb and in-person reporting (245 Smith St) are functioning, and we ask you to utilize these options if needed. If you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1. https://t.co/glnoKkzuMf
