Lawns are white and streets are flooded after a severe thunderstorm rolled through Winnipeg late Thursday afternoon.
Just after 4 p.m., the storm turned from torrential rain into a significant hail storm.

Marble to pea-sized hail fell for about five minutes leaving behind an icy mess.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for the City of Winnipeg just before 4:30 p.m. and remained in effect until 5:25 p.m.
The powerful line of storms is continuing to move to the east with more warnings expected for regions in its path.
