The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra treated guests at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights Wednesday night with a piece very dear to us at Classic 107.

Members of the orchestra slowly filtered into the Garden of Contemplation while performing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, eventually filling walkways and nooks on different levels all around the hall with the beautiful work. The surprise event was a preview of the WSO's upcoming performance of Beethoven's Ninth on March 27 & 28th at the Centennial Concert Hall.

Classic 107's Luke Thiessen was there to take in the performance of the first piece broadcast on our radio station. Below are some photos of the event.
