An Officer of the Order of Canada, National Arts Centre Award winner and  a Governor General's Perfrorming Arts Award winner, Angela Hewitt is not only considered one of the top pianist of the world, she is also considered one of the top interpreters of Bach.

She is in Winnipeg this weekend to perform three concerts. Two with The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra  where we'll hear hear this great Canadian in two of her specialties: the Spanish flare of Manuel de Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain plus Ravel’s jazz-infused Piano Concerto in G.

On Sunday afternoon, she performs an intimate solo concert with Virtuosi where the program wil feature  Bach, Scarlatti, Ravel and more! (This concert is sold out by the way)
