The Winnipeg Police Service is asking for help in locating witnesses to a serious collision on Friday afternoon.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Dakota Street and Bishop Grandin Boulevard on August 3, at approximately 1:00 p.m.

The accident caused one of the vehicles involved to roll, coming to a stop on its roof. A total of six individuals were transported to hospital, including one person in unstable condition.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what happened, though they believe three vehicles were involved.

The WPS says they are hoping the public can help identify a truck and its occupants, whom they believe were witnesses to the accident. It is believed that the vehicle is a white 2014-2015 Chevrolet Silverado and the occupants will have information that can assist investigators.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Traffic Division. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-7085 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
