Here is Cydney's great entry!

Good morning:

Love your radio station! I’m new to listening to classical music after accidentally landing on your dial and finding the music… well… lovely. In the morning on the way to work: lively and invigorating. Returning home after a long day: soothing and relaxing. On the weekend: delightful. Plus news, weather, sports and upcoming events in Winnipeg. Love it!

Please accept this as my entry to your Perfectly Lovely Contest this valentine’s day. I would love to share the prize with a variety of my family members: I would take my husband of 30+ years to the movies, a very rare occurrence. Maybe to an Opera and we’ll pretend we’re in New York at the Met. My parents, sadly now passed away, loved opera so much that I would lure them from Regina to visit us in Winnipeg and take in the two Manitoba Operas every year. It’s been five years since my mother passed away – we’re definitely due to see another opera.

I would share the pet basket with my sweet Maisy, a mini aussiedoodle who’s the sweetest, most obedient doggie in the world who loves toys and food beyond compare. If there were cat toys or treats, I’d share those with our new young orange tabby named Kevin (She’s a Girl), who is just growing out of kittenhood now but is still crazy active and loves all toys and things that go bump in the night, including her big sister Maisy.

Rainbow Stage would be an amazing experience for my daughter, Zoe, who takes dance at Kids Etc Youth Movement Company and especially loves musical theatre and ballet. She was delighted when I took her to the Nutcracker two years ago; she would be over the moon in love to go to Rainbow Stage. I would buy extra tickets so my other children, Isabel and Jefferson, could also come and enjoy the theatrics. We’d eat Rotis at the Forks Market first and make it quite the memorable day!

Finally, I would definitely take my husband to Fusion Grill where we’re dined in the past but very rarely on very special occasions. We’d ensure the kids had a pizza and a movie at home, and we’d treat ourselves to a romantic evening, basking in the warmth and luxury of the fusion of good food, good wine, and good company!

Thanks so much,

Cydney Keith
