While the Jets were celebrating a great win last night, the Winnipeg Ice were stuck dealing with a harsh loss against the Moose Jaw Warriors.

The first period saw a lot of excitement from both teams, ending with a 3-3 tie and goals from Zach Ostapchuk, Briley Wood and Vladislav Shile from the Ice, and Ryder Korczak, Jagger Firkus and Lynden Lakovic from the Warriors.

Daniel Hauser, who started in net for the Winnipeg Ice was traded out for Mason Beaupit, however, that didn't stop the hosting team from scoring another two goals by Eric Alarie and Lakovic.

Josh Medernach from the Ice was the lone player to find the back of the Warriors' net in the third period, while their opponents secured another three points from Cosmo Wilson, Martin Rysavy and Firkus.

The final score was in the Warriors' favour, 8-4 against the Ice.

Winnipeg Ice outshot the Moose Jaw Warriors 29-25, but it was the opposing goaltender Connor Ungar who received the victory, making 25 saves.

The two teams will face each other again today at 8 p.m., and then again on Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. for game five at the Ice Cave inside the Wayne Flemming Arena.
