On October 14, 2023, at approximately 12:50 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a nightclub in the 400 block of Main Street. According to police, the attending officers discovered that security had previously removed the male from the business due to his aggressive behaviour.

Once brought outside, the male suspect held a handgun and began waving it around. No shots were fired. A short time later, officers located the suspect near Garry Street and arrested him.

A replica BB gun was located and seized. The 30-year-old male has multiple charges, including possession of a weapon, multiple accounts of assault with a weapon, pointing a firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon prohibited device or ammunition.
