It was a fun conversation with the Organized Crime Duo Monday moirning with host Michael Wolch. Known for their onstage antics, costume changes and fantastic organ playing, Rachel Mahon and Sarah Svendsen are performing in Winnipeg Wednesday night. Missed Michael's interview? Watch the video here!

Sarah Svendsen and Rachel Mahon. Together they are Organized Crime Organized Crime is an organ duo that grew from the friendship between Rachel Mahon and Sarah Svendsen, who met at the University of Toronto. The programme includes a combination of classic organ repertoire and popular music transcribed and arranged for the instrument. The goal of this duo is to entertain audiences with their music and antics (which involve costume changes, dazzling shoes and hot tempers) and to promote the organ to a wider audience of all ages. With this purpose in mind, Organized Crime's concerts are unlike any other organ concerts and appeal to everyone, from the organ aficionado to one completely unfamiliar with the pipes. The performance must be seen as well as heard and so must take place on an exposed console.

The duo’s three-city Canadian tour of tongue-in-cheek show, Wanted, stops at St. Luke’s Anglican Church on Wednesday, June 28, at 7 p.m. Tickets ($20/adults; $10/students; free under age 12) are available at McNally Robinson Booksellers, or at the door.
