This Sunday afternoon the Women's Musical Club of Winnipeg launch their 2016/17 season with the Chooi siblings and a program that will showcase Nikki & Timothy's individual styles. We caught up with them over the phone from Philadelphia.

It's a family affair at the Winnipeg art Gallery this Sunday afternoon (Oct 02) for the first concert of the season. Nikki Chooi, who performed with the WSO a few seasons back, makes his retun to Winnipeg with his younger brother Timothy. Both are very established violonists. Nikki was just named the Met Opera Orchestra concert master and Timothy's schedule is relentless with performances with orchestras all over the world.

Classic 107's Claudia Garcia de la Huerta had the opportunity to talk with both Nikki & Timothy over the phone from Philadelphia last week the morning after the WSO's season opener with Joshua Bell. Winnipeg is defintely a hot spot for world class violin talent this fall!!
